✨We are thrilled to name Lori Taylor
FFNR's 2024 Foster of the Year award!✨
Lori's dedication and tireless efforts have been nothing short of amazing. This year, she has fostered 27 kittens, which means that almost 30% of FFNR's total intakes have passed through Lori's home. Lori is especially skilled in caring for bottle-fed kittens, often taking in cases as young as just hours old. Using specialized techniques and best care practices, she provides these fragile kittens with the best possible chance at long, healthy, and happy lives.
Of the 27 kittens Lori fostered this year:
👉 One was a returned adoption she welcomed back with open arms, ultimately helping them find their perfect forever home.
👉 13 stayed with her throughout their entire foster journey until they were adopted by loving families.
👉 10 were bottle-fed, weaned, and then transferred to other FFNR fosters, allowing Lori to make room for even more bottle baby cases.
💜 3 were lovingly guided over the rainbow bridge, experiencing comfort, warmth, and unconditional love thanks to Lori's compassion and dedication.
Lori's favorite case this year was Poe. Poe was found in a driveway on 9/4. Lori says, "I love when I have one so tiny with ups & downs, make it through to adoption. When he got sick we did a lot of cuddles and bonded 🥰."
FFNR's mission of saving tiny lives would not be possible without fosters like Lori. We are beyond proud to honor her as our 2024 Foster of the Year and eagerly look forward to seeing the incredible impact she’ll make in 2025!
Thank you, Lori!
